Job Overview
They are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Machinery Service Engineer to join our growing team in the advanced machine manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and technical support of our high-precision machinery including CO2 Laser Machines, Fiber Laser Machines, CNC Routers, Laser Engraving Machines, Laser Marking Machines, and Digital Printers. This role is ideal for engineering graduates passionate about technology, machinery, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission CO2 Laser Machines, Fiber Laser Machines, CNC Routers, and Digital Printing Machines at client locations.
- Ensure accurate machine setup, alignment, and calibration as per technical specifications.
- Conduct pre-installation checks and ensure site readiness for smooth deployment.
- Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with installation protocols.
- Provide basic machine operation training to customers after installation.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose technical issues related to electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software systems.
- Troubleshoot machine faults using diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical knowledge.
- Identify root causes of breakdowns and implement effective solutions.
- Repair or replace defective components such as laser sources, motors, drives, and control units.
- Deliver remote technical support via phone, email, or online platforms.
- Provide on-site support and resolve customer issues within defined timelines.
- Respond promptly and professionally to service requests and breakdown calls.
- Conduct detailed customer training on machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and service quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for long-term engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service visits, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare detailed service reports including work performed, parts replaced, and recommendations.
- Assist in updating technical documentation, manuals, and service guidelines.
- Provide technical feedback to internal teams for product and process improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies in laser, CNC, and digital printing machines.
- Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance technical skills.
- Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and reduce response time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry safety standards during field work.
- Educate customers on safe machine usage, maintenance practices, and operational guidelines.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits along with motion control systems.
- Solid foundation in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and systematic problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with CO2 and Fiber Laser systems including laser sources and beam delivery.
- Knowledge of CNC machines, basic G-code programming, motors, drives, and encoders.
- Understanding of digital printing technologies such as inkjet and UV systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for assembly handling, alignments, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with measuring instruments and calibration procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with machine control or diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a logical and methodical approach.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
- Good time management with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety standards and safe operating practices.
