Area Sales Manager – WNAASM24072025

Job Overview

As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll drive revenue, build strong dealer & distributor networks, and amplify brand presence in the market. You’ll lead market expansion, forge lasting relationships with key influencers like architects and contractors, and turn opportunities into consistent wins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Build, manage, and expand the distributor and dealer network.
  • Conduct regular market visits to support channel partners and resolve issues.
  • Implement dealer development programs and monitor inventory flow through depots.
  • Appoint new distributors/dealers in untapped or underdeveloped territories.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer behavior.
  • Provide actionable market insights and feedback to senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and contractors.
  • Conduct product presentations, site visits, and promotional events.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Manage customer queries, concerns, and ensure high satisfaction.
  • Support and coordinate with international clients across 18+ countries.
  • Understand and comply with export/import regulations for global markets.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge of laminates and plywood offerings.
  • Train and educate channel partners and influencers on product features.
  • Coordinate with depots, logistics, and support teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and credit collections.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and market information.
  • Share regular MIS, performance reports, and forecasts with management.
  • Manage budgets and control sales-related expenses.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of sales executives (if applicable).
  • Set clear performance goals and foster a high-performance sales culture.
