Assistant Sales Manager – WNJASM24042023
- Identify the development potential in accounts by studying current and previous business.
- Meet with key customer personnel.
- Identify and evaluate additional needs and analyse opportunities.
- Initiate sales process by building relationships.
- Qualifying potential and scheduling appointments.
- Develop sales by making initial presentations.
- Explaining product and service enhancements and additions and introducing new products and services.
- Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current customer requirements and identifying needs to be filled.
- Monitoring competitive products and analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
- Discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements.
- Developing and negotiating hires; integrating hire requirements with business operations.
- Protect organizational value by keeping selected company information confidential.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other opportunities.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, especially in EPC/ADNOC is a must.
- Having a good clientele network within ADNOC would be given preference.
- Customer service skills and strong business acumen.
- Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility.
- Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire sales team. (e.g. cross-selling)
- Ensures customer satisfaction and solves complaints with the rest of the team.
- Generates leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets.
- Requests technical know-how from Technical sales support (TSS) in tendering phase in non-standard cases and according to local policy.
- Arranges pre-tender, pre-booking reviews and ensures Sales-to-Operations...Prepare and deliver technical presentations.
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements.
- Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
- Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
- Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers.
- Help in researching and developing new products.
Key Skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software. (ERP etc.)
