Automobile Service Engineer – WNTASE30102023
- An engineer must be able to diagnose issues with vehicles and their systems. They must use their knowledge of automotive systems and their expertise in troubleshooting techniques to identify the root cause of the problem.
- Once the issue has been identified, the field service engineer must repair the issue. They may need to replace parts, repair wiring or connections, or perform other repairs to ensure the vehicle is functioning properly.
- In addition to repairs, an automotive field service engineer is also responsible for performing routine maintenance on vehicles. This may include changing fluids, replacing filters, and performing other preventative maintenance tasks.
- The field service engineer must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service. They may need to explain issues and repairs in a way that is easy for customers to understand and provide guidance on how to prevent similar issues in the future.
- Service engineer must keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. This documentation is important for tracking the history of the vehicle and ensuring that the appropriate repairs have been performed.
- An automotive field service engineer must follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of others. They must also ensure that any repairs or maintenance performed on vehicles meet all safety standards and regulations.
- Working Knowledge of Two Wheelers Industry ( Preferred Electric 2 wheelers )
- Hands on experience in operating DMS and Imparting training to the dealers.
- Remote Technical assistance to dealer technicians for Quick Concern resolutions
- Follow up & Closure of Open Service Job Card closure with defined TAT.
- Follow up with the dealer for closure of customer concern reported on CRM with defined TAT.
- Coordination with dealers for Service Campaign activities execution and its closure as per the given Plan.
- Dealers queries management and timely resolutions of the issues.
- Dealer Service Performance Evaluation & Review.
- Verification of Hold Claims and guidance to dealer to provide necessary supporting for Job Card closure
- Managing Q&A related to Hold Claims & education/awareness to dealers on Warranty Policy and guidelines time to time.
- Weekly Spare Stock review & ensuring adherence of Minimum Stock Level.
- Supporting dealers in processing claims documents, reconciling product warranty receivables.
- Defective part verification at dealers and ensuring return shipment of Defective Parts.
