Job Overview
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Fiber Laser Cutting Machines and other advanced laser machinery solutions.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in industries such as sheet metal, engineering, fabrication, automotive, aerospace, signage, and manufacturing.
- Proactively develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned territory or market segment.
- Generate and communicate leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to achieve sales budget and pricing targets.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and machine trials to showcase the capabilities of Fiber Laser, CO2 Laser, Engraving, and Marking Machines.
- Understand customer production processes and recommend appropriate laser cutting solutions based on application requirements.
- Confer with customers, engineers, and technical teams to assess equipment needs and provide customized solutions.
- Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and sales agreements in line with customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Technical Sales Support (TSS) during tendering stages for non-standard technical or commercial requirements.
- Arrange pre-tender and pre-booking reviews and ensure smooth Sales-to-Operations handover after order confirmation.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, and delivery schedules to successfully close high-value machinery sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.
- Manage key accounts and act as the primary point of contact for major customers.
- Maintain and manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, marketing, production, and service departments to support the sales process.
- Coordinate machine installation, commissioning, training, and after-sales support with the service and technical teams.
- Assist customers in resolving technical issues related to installed equipment and ensure prompt complaint resolution.
- Recommend improved machinery solutions, upgrades, or complementary equipment to enhance customer productivity.
- Identify potential clients currently using conventional cutting methods and promote fiber laser technology as an upgrade solution.
- Monitor industry trends, technological developments, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, client meetings, and industrial events to promote the company's machinery solutions.
- Develop and manage channel partners, dealers, and distributors to expand market reach.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Support product development and innovation initiatives by sharing customer feedback and application insights.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and represent the company as a trusted advisor in advanced laser cutting technologies.
- Strong expertise in industrial machinery sales with in-depth knowledge of Fiber Laser Cutting Machines, CO2 Laser Machines, CNC Routers, Laser Engraving Machines, and Laser Marking Machines.
- Proven experience in B2B industrial or capital equipment sales with a strong track record in prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of fiber laser cutting technology including machine capabilities, operational parameters, material compatibility, and advantages over traditional cutting technologies.
- Ability to conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and machine trials to effectively communicate product value to customers.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, sheet metal fabrication, industrial production environments, and related engineering applications.
- Ability to analyze customer production workflows and recommend suitable laser cutting solutions that improve productivity, precision, and operational efficiency.
- Proven business development skills with the ability to identify new market opportunities, generate leads, and expand the customer base across manufacturing industries.
- Strong key account management and relationship-building skills to develop long-term partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial discussion skills for managing pricing, payment terms, contracts, and large machinery sales agreements.
- Experience in preparing detailed techno-commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and business presentations.
- Strong sales strategy planning and execution skills to achieve revenue growth and market expansion targets.
- Ability to manage and maintain sales pipelines, track opportunities, and monitor performance using CRM tools and sales software.
- Strong market research and competitor analysis skills to identify industry trends, technological advancements, and potential business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, engineers, management teams, and internal stakeholders.

Minimum 5 to 9 years of experience as a Product Sales Manager in Industrial Machinery Sales / Capital Equipment Sales / Technical Sales / Relevant within the Manufacturing Engineering sector. Prior experience in selling Fiber Laser Cutting Machines / CO2 Laser Machines / CNC Machines / Similar Industrial Equipment will be highly preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record in business development, lead generation, key account management, and closing high-value B2B sales deals. Experience in handling techno-commercial discussions, preparing proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and working with engineering or technical teams will be an added advantage.
