Job Overview

The Audio-Visual (AV) Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by selling Audio-Visual (AV) Technology and Unified Communication (UC) solutions. The role involves developing relationships with corporate clients, system integrators, consultants, channel partners, and distributors to generate new business and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include solution-based B2B sales, key account management, business development, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and coordination with technical teams to deliver successful AV and collaboration projects. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by achieving assigned sales, revenue, and profitability targets for Audio-Visual (AV) and Unified Communication (UC) solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across target industries and markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned territories, verticals, and key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, system integrators, consultants, architects, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Expand and manage the channel partner ecosystem to increase market reach and business opportunities.
  • Manage key customer accounts to ensure long-term relationships, customer retention, and repeat business.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend customized AV and Unified Communication solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and solution discovery sessions to identify business opportunities.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions.
  • Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Present solution value propositions and commercial offers aligned with customer requirements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization to secure profitable business.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification to order closure and payment collection.
  • Coordinate with pre-sales, engineering, design, project, and technical support teams to develop and deliver effective solutions.
  • Ensure smooth project execution, installation, delivery, and successful customer handover.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and management reports.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging AV and UC technologies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on lead generation campaigns, product feedback, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and after-sales support.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, networking events, and customer meetings.
  • Develop strategic relationships with consultants and industry influencers to secure early project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial guidelines, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales KPIs while maintaining healthy profit margins.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge, industry expertise, and solution-selling capabilities to support business growth.

Experience

Minimum 1 to 2 Years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Key Account Management, Channel Sales, or Solution Selling of Professional AV and UC solutions is preferred. Experience in selling Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, PTZ Cameras, Conference Cameras, Professional Audio Systems, Displays, Projectors, LED Video Walls, AV Control Systems, and Workplace Collaboration Solutions will be an added advantage. Strong exposure to solution-based B2B sales, customer requirement analysis, techno-commercial proposal preparation, contract negotiation, CRM management, sales forecasting, channel partner management, and key account development is essential. Experience in coordinating with pre-sales, engineering, project, and technical teams to deliver successful AV and UC projects is highly desirable.
