Software Support Manager – WNKSSM20042023

  • Find technical resolutions on issues or queries related to unknown or new scenarios.
  • Effectively leads a team of support executives  through active training and coaching.
  • Create and maintain departmental documentation related to the GST software system.
  • Work with cross-functional teams as and when required.
  • Keep up to date with software products and their enhancements.
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction level.
  • Provide Application support & Deployment services.
  • Deliver a stellar remote end user and systems support experience.
  • Participate in data-modeling and database designing.
  • Perform event and time based scheduling of SSIS packages.
  • Performance Optimization and Technical Design and Documentation.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues.
  • Handling batch production jobs failures to meet the SLA on time.
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue.
  • Support, optimisation and customisation of our GST software using core technologies.  
  • Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online tools and processes.  
  • Ensuring that client systems are fully operational and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner.  
  • Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times.  
  • Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management.  Deployment of service releases, patches, requests and customisations.  
  • Create productive relationships with and between key stakeholders.  
  • Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy. 
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams. (e.g. software developers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Refer to internal databases or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Prioritise and manage several open issues at one time.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • Maintain jovial relationships with clients.


Key Skills

  • Should have an IT background.
  • Experience in Desktop software support is a must.
  • Support staff to ensure high availability for customer support.
  • Find technical resolutions on issues or queries related to unknown or new scenarios.
  • Effectively leads a team of support executives  through active training and coaching.
  • Work with cross-functional teams as and when required.
  • Keep up to date with software product and their enhancements.
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction level.
  • GST knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.


Salary
₹30000/- to ₹50000/- pm (Best in the Industry for Qualified Candidate)
