Furniture Sales Executive – WNPFSE21032025

Job Overview
They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Furniture Sales Executive to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the furniture industry. You will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth by promoting our premium furniture products to businesses and individual customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Log in to the Indiamart portal daily and select appropriate buy leads as per the weekly eligibility plan.
- Analyze and prioritize leads to ensure maximum conversion potential.
- Approach potential customers in a professional and unique manner to differentiate from competitors.
- Share all relevant details about the company profile, product range, and proposals to create a strong impression.
- Arrange and conduct meetings with customers at their premises to discuss requirements and present solutions.
- Organize customer visits to the company’s plant and experience center to showcase the wide range of products for a touch and feel experience.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with customers to build trust and convert leads into business.
- Ensure timely communication and address customer queries to move the sales process forward.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all leads, including their progress and status.
- Prepare regular reports on lead conversion rates, sales performance, and IndiaMart portal activity.
- Develop strategies to maximize the profitability of the IndiaMart portal.
- Identify new opportunities and trends on the platform to stay ahead of competitors.
- Candidates would be required to achieve sales.
- Meet Architects, Builders, Corporate clients and promote all product ranges.
- Handle existing key corporate accounts of the company and also develop new accounts.
- Would be required to handle the complete operation starting from Inquiry generation. Sampling,
- quotations, follow up, order closure, delivery coordination, payment collection.
- General administrative work relating to sales agreement, correspondence, quotation, purchase order etc.
- Taking inquiries from customers via phone, fax, post and email, and quoting in accordance with the customer's requirements, ensuring that all inquiries are responded to in line with the customer's time frame.
- Oversee sales and marketing activities to achieve corporate revenue goals.
- Plan and assign daily workload to the sales team.
- Interview, hire and train sales representatives.
- Evaluate performance of the sales team and provide appropriate feedback.
- Provide guidance to sales representatives in their assigned duties.
- Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Develop new sales techniques for business growth and profitability.
- Understand customer needs and suggest changes in products to meet these needs.
- Address customer inquiries about products and services offered.
- Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction to build business.
- Represent the company brand in sales conferences and trade shows.
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and specifications.
- Identify selling strategies and opportunities to increase revenue.
- Evaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Develop a strategic plan for optimized productivity.
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality.
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships.
- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals.
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share.
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved.
- Ability to do analytical work on sales data in excel & present it forward.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our furniture products.
- Identify potential clients, establish new business opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Provide detailed product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales deals effectively.
- Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to increase brand awareness.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market feedback.
Key Skills
- Desired profile candidates should have experience in Sales with focus on Architects & Builders is a must.
- Proven experience in furniture sales or a related industry.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably with experience in managing IndiaMart or similar B2B portals.
- Strong understanding of the IndiaMart platform and its functionalities.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of furniture trends, materials, and design concepts.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Candidates should be mobile and willing to travel.
