Human Resource Executive – WNRHE14052025

Job Overview
They are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management. As a core member of our HR team, you will play a key role in building a positive work culture and supporting our dynamic, globally connected workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, offer roll-outs, and onboarding.
- Develop hiring strategies tailored to the travel industry’s needs (e.g., multilingual skills, destination knowledge, and customer service orientation).
- Source candidates through online portals, social media, travel schools, and industry platforms.
- Administer relevant assessments like language proficiency and customer service simulations to ensure candidate suitability.
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs to introduce new hires to the company’s culture, values, systems, and policies.
- Ensure new employees are equipped with the tools and support needed for success.
- Coordinate and support performance appraisal processes, goal setting, and KPI tracking in collaboration with department heads.
- Provide guidance on feedback and performance improvement plans.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs on travel products, booking systems, customer service, sales techniques, leadership, and compliance.
- Utilize various methods including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training. Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, employee events, and satisfaction surveys.
- Drive internal communication initiatives such as town halls, newsletters, and policy updates to maintain a positive and transparent work environment.
- Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organizational charts.
- Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws and global HR standards.
- Communicate policies clearly and apply them consistently.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data privacy through efficient use of HRIS/HRMS. Generate HR reports and provide insights on metrics like turnover, recruitment efficiency, and training impact.
- Support payroll processing, manage leave and attendance records, and oversee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure competitive compensation structures.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
- Foster a respectful and supportive work environment across all levels.
- Align HR practices with business goals, support organizational change initiatives, and contribute to long-term workforce planning in collaboration with leadership.
- Apply a deep understanding of travel industry dynamics to recruitment, training, and policy-making. Promote customer service excellence, multilingual hiring, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability to market fluctuations.
