Job Overview

The Pigment Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for pigments and masterbatch products. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key client accounts, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring revenue targets are achieved. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, proven sales experience in pigments/masterbatches, and the ability to lead customer-focused initiatives to increase profitability and market reach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for pigment and masterbatch products to achieve company targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify and approach potential customers in domestic and international markets.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business, loyalty, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing strategies, competitors, and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide product solutions that meet client specifications and offer technical support/troubleshooting when needed.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with customers.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.
  • Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products and generate leads.
  • Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance, track targets, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and expand market share.
  • Strong skills in building, maintaining, and nurturing client relationships.
  • Expertise in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • In-depth understanding of Masterbatch products, including Polymer and Polymer-less Masterbatches, pigment formulations, and their applications.
  • Strong negotiation skills for pricing, contracts, and closing sales.
  • Ability to work with technical teams to provide product solutions and technical support to customers.
  • Capability to develop and execute effective sales strategies for both domestic and international markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present reports and proposals professionally.
  • Skills in sales forecasting, performance tracking, and preparing actionable reports for management.
  • Ability to represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads.
  • Strong coordination with production, supply chain, and logistics teams for seamless order fulfillment.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining trust and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office, and sales analytics tools.
  • Good understanding of the plastics industry, market trends, color technology, and pigment dispersion.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages such as Hindi.

₹40000/- to ₹100000/- pm (Best in the Industry for Qualified Candidate)

Any candidate who has completed a Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Chemicals / Polymer Science / Plastics Engineering / Materials Science / MBA with Sales / MBA with Marketing can apply for this position, additional certifications in Plastics Technology, Color Science, or Polymer Compounding will be an advantage.

Experience
Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in sales of Pigments / Masterbatches / Related Products in the Plastics and Polymers Industry, with proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing key accounts, and developing business in domestic and international markets.
