Human Resource Executive – WNSHRE03102025
Job Overview
- Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, offer roll-outs, and onboarding.
- Lead recruitment for technical/manufacturing talent such as Pyrolysis Engineers, Crumb Rubber Specialists, Plant Supervisors, and Maintenance Technicians.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and provide tailored hiring solutions.
- Coordinate with global/regional HR teams for international talent sourcing, immigration, and relocation processes.
- Develop recruitment strategies that highlight the company’s sustainability mission and strengthen green employer branding.
- Support workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure a steady talent pipeline.
- Manage payroll processing, attendance, shift scheduling, leave management, overtime, and incentive bonuses.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, labor laws) and maintain documentation for audits.
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks in line with legal and international standards.
- Maintain HRIS/HRMS systems, ensuring accurate employee data, records, and workforce metrics.
- Support HR and compliance audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
- Design and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training programs for heavy machinery, scrap tyres, pyrolysis oil, and hazardous materials.
- Work with Operations to enforce strict safety protocols, manage incident reporting, and support accident prevention initiatives.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all plant operations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate programs to enhance technical, functional, and leadership skills.
- Implement sustainability literacy training to align employee behavior with environmental goals.
- Conduct continuous upskilling programs to improve efficiency, productivity, and use of advanced recycling technology.
- Facilitate cross-functional training to improve collaboration between production, R&D, and sales teams.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain compliance records.
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems aligned with manufacturing KPIs such as quality output, efficiency, and safety compliance.
- Support goal setting, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans.
- Address employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner.
- Develop engagement and retention strategies for plant workers, including competitive wages, welfare programs, and career progression paths.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and a respectful workplace culture across all levels.
- Provide administrative support for HR operations including documentation, filing, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
- Assist with office and factory administration tasks such as vendor coordination, supplies procurement, housekeeping, and facility management.
- Support logistics and production teams with documentation like work orders, safety records, and inspection reports.
- Track administrative expenses and ensure adherence to company safety and compliance procedures.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, and labor law compliance.
- Expertise in manufacturing/plant recruitment and workforce management.
- Proven ability to hire specialized technical talent (Pyrolysis Engineers, Process Chemists, Plant Technicians, Automation Experts).
- Experience in global talent sourcing, visa processing, and expatriate management.
- Familiarity with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols in industrial environments.
- Knowledge of industrial relations, labor practices, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Ability to design performance management systems linked to KPIs (efficiency, quality, safety).
- Skills in grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of employee engagement, retention strategies, and welfare initiatives.
- Competence in training design, learning & development, and sustainability literacy programs.
- Experience in succession planning, workforce planning, and change management.
- Ability to integrate sustainability values into HR practices (Green HR / Employer Branding).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS software, recruitment platforms, and payroll systems.
- Data analysis and HR reporting (attrition, hiring metrics, ROI, compliance).
- Skills in policy drafting, audits, documentation, and statutory record-keeping.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with multitasking efficiency.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to manage a multinational, diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP tools.
- Basic knowledge of procurement, vendor coordination, and office administration.
- Familiarity with travel, logistics, and facility management in a corporate/manufacturing setup.
- Awareness of safety procedures, factory processes, and quality standards.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-branch manufacturing and corporate environment.
