Infrastructure Civil Engineer – WNBICE05112025

Job Overview
They are looking for a dynamic Civil Engineer to handle on-site execution of civil, interior, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) works across commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, coordination, and supervision skills to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily on-site activities for infrastructure, civil, and MEPF works to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
- Plan, design, and develop infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, foundations, and utilities.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental impact assessments to evaluate project viability.
- Ensure all construction and design activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality, safety standards, and timelines.
- Oversee contractors, subcontractors, laborers, and technical teams to maintain productivity, discipline, and work quality.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, structural engineers, interior designers, and vendors for integrated project delivery.
- Manage and monitor materials, tools, equipment, and site resources for optimal utilization and minimal wastage.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, including labor attendance, material usage, and inspection records.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and technical accuracy.
- Implement and monitor HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and safety protocols on all project sites.
- Supervise civil and infrastructure works such as excavation, foundation, RCC, roadwork, drainage, paving, plastering, and finishing.
- Verify rebar detailing, shuttering, concreting, and curing as per structural and design drawings.
- Check ground leveling, grading, and compaction to ensure proper alignment and load-bearing capacity.
- Oversee installation and testing of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and utility services.
- Ensure proper integration of MEP systems with civil and architectural components.
- Conduct quality checks and material testing for civil, structural, and MEP installations.
- Supervise interior and finishing works including flooring, ceiling, wall finishes, carpentry, and painting.
- Coordinate with suppliers and consultants for material approvals and site requirements.
- Use CAD, Civil 3D, or BIM software for preparing and reviewing designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules, and manage procurement and bidding processes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, obtaining necessary permits and following local, state, and federal codes.
- Resolve technical and operational issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- Monitor and ensure timely achievement of project milestones within approved budgets.
- Implement quality assurance and control (QA/QC) measures to meet performance and reliability standards.
- Develop and execute maintenance and rehabilitation plans for aging or existing infrastructure.
- Promote environmental sustainability and use eco-friendly, durable materials wherever possible.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, government agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and project documentation for review and handover.
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and durable infrastructure projects that meet client and regulatory expectations.

- Structural Analysis & Design – Proficient in analyzing and designing concrete, steel, and composite structures using STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Geotechnical Engineering – Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and ground improvement techniques.
- Hydraulics & Water Resources – Expertise in stormwater management, water supply, sewage, and flood control systems.
- Transportation Engineering – Understanding of geometric design, pavement design, and traffic engineering.
- Surveying & Leveling – Skilled in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS-based surveying, and topographical analysis.
- Design & Drafting Tools – Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley MicroStation, and InfraWorks for detailed design and drafting.
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) – Knowledge of BIM workflows for integrated and collaborative project delivery.
- GIS & Mapping – Familiarity with ArcGIS and QGIS for spatial analysis and asset management.
- Quality Assurance (QA/QC) – Experienced in inspection, testing, and maintaining construction and material quality standards.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) – Strong understanding of OSHA standards, safety protocols, and environmental compliance.
- Material & Resource Management – Efficient in planning, procurement, and utilization of construction materials, machinery, and equipment.
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting – Skilled in preparing BOQs, material take-offs, cost analysis, and value engineering.
- Contract & Risk Management – Knowledge of FIDIC and local contract frameworks, risk assessment, and project documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance – Thorough understanding of IS Codes, IRC, ACI, local bylaws, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.
- MEP Coordination – Knowledge of integrating electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting systems with civil structures.
- Construction Management – Hands-on experience in sequencing, scheduling, resource planning, and monitoring project milestones.
- Sustainability Practices – Incorporating eco-friendly designs, green materials, and carbon-efficient construction methods.
- Maintenance & Rehabilitation – Ability to assess existing infrastructure and plan structural repairs or upgrades.
- Technical Reporting & Documentation – Preparing drawings, reports, inspection logs, and as-built documentation.
- Software Proficiency – Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro, MS Project, Primavera, ArcGIS, and BIM platforms.
