Electric Material Handling Equipment Sales Manager – WNSEMHPSM24012026
Job Overview
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in electric mobility and electric industrial equipments.
- Identify, target, and acquire new business across infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, construction, airports, and municipal sectors.
- Manage and grow key accounts by building long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Promote and sell electric products including Electric Tow Trucks, Electric Forklifts, Electric Trolleys, Electric Cranes, and other electric mobility solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, site visits, and technical discussions to clearly explain product features, benefits, and ROI.
- Understand customer requirements and propose customized electric mobility solutions aligned with operational and infrastructure needs.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure correct product selection, customization, and timely delivery.
- Lead tender preparation, bid submissions, and negotiations for government, institutional, and large infrastructure projects.
- Develop, expand, and manage dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks to increase market penetration.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulations, and EV incentives to refine sales and pricing strategies.
- Build, track, and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
- Lead, train, mentor, and motivate sales teams to enhance performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, project, and after-sales teams to ensure aligned strategies and high customer satisfaction.
- Support contract closures, order execution, and smooth handover to project management and service teams.
- Collect customer feedback and provide market intelligence to internal teams for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strong B2B sales experience in electric mobility, electric vehicles, industrial equipment, or infrastructure solutions.
- Deep technical knowledge of electric mobility products, material handling equipment, and heavy electric machinery.
- Understanding of EV powertrain systems, battery technologies, charging methods, safety standards, and operational efficiencies.
- Ability to explain technical specifications, performance benefits, and ROI in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
- Proven expertise in sales strategy development, business development, and market expansion.
- Strong capability in consultative and value-based selling, including Total Cost of Ownership and ROI modeling.
- Experience in long-cycle, complex B2B sales involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Excellent key account management and long-term customer relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in tender management, proposal writing, bid submissions, and contract negotiations.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, construction, and municipal sectors.
- Ability to assess customer infrastructure and recommend suitable electric mobility or charging solutions.
- Knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, regulations, and government incentives related to e-mobility.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience in dealer, distributor, and channel partner management and development.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets with accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce for lead tracking and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for customer needs assessment and objection handling.
- Team leadership experience including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, marketing, operations, and after-sales teams.
- High adaptability to evolving EV technologies, policies, and market conditions.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with commitment to service quality and after-sales satisfaction.
