- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in electric Material Handling Equipment and industrial mobility solutions.
- Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities across manufacturing plants, warehouses, logistics hubs, construction sites, airports, infrastructure projects, and municipal sectors.
- Promote and sell Electric Tow Trucks, Electric Forklifts, Electric Trolleys, Electric Cranes, and other electric material handling equipment.
- Conduct product presentations, live demonstrations, site inspections, and technical discussions to clearly explain product features, load capacity, battery systems, safety standards, and return on investment.
- Understand customer material flow, load movement, space utilization, and operational challenges to propose customized electric MHE solutions aligned with productivity and infrastructure requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost calculations, tender documents, and competitive quotations.
- Lead tender participation, bid submissions, and commercial negotiations for government, institutional, and large industrial projects.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure accurate product selection, technical customization, and timely order execution.
- Develop and manage dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks to increase regional and sector-wise market penetration.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with plant heads, purchase managers, logistics managers, and key decision-makers.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, safety regulations, and electric mobility incentives to refine pricing and sales strategies.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through CRM systems and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Support smooth contract closure, order finalization, and handover to project and after-sales service teams.
- Collect customer feedback and share market insights with internal teams to support product improvement and innovation.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by coordinating with service teams for installation, commissioning, and post-sales support.
- Strong B2B sales experience in Material Handling Equipment, electric forklifts, electric tow trucks, industrial equipment, or capital goods.
- In-depth technical knowledge of electric MHE products, load handling systems, drive mechanisms, lifting technologies, and industrial applications.
- Understanding of electric drive systems, battery technologies such as Lithium-ion and Lead-acid, charging methods, safety standards, and operational efficiency in warehouse and plant environments.
- Ability to clearly explain technical specifications, load capacities, performance advantages, safety features, and Return on Investment in a simple and customer-friendly manner.
- Proven expertise in sales strategy development, territory planning, business development, and market expansion within industrial sectors.
- Strong consultative and value-based selling approach, including Total Cost of Ownership analysis and productivity improvement calculations.
- Experience handling long sales cycles and complex B2B deals involving plant heads, procurement teams, operations managers, and finance stakeholders.
- Excellent key account management and long-term relationship-building skills with industrial clients.
- Proficiency in tender management, proposal preparation, techno-commercial documentation, bid submissions, and contract negotiations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, construction, infrastructure, and municipal operations.
- Ability to assess customer site conditions such as floor layout, load movement, storage systems, and operational workflow to recommend suitable electric material handling solutions.
- Awareness of market trends, competitor products, industrial safety norms, and government incentives related to electric mobility and industrial electrification.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills for discussions with senior management and decision-makers.
- Experience in managing and developing dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets with structured pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to understand customer pain points and handle objections effectively.
