EV Field Sales Manager – WNAEFSM11092025

Job Overview

They are looking for a proactive and results-driven EV Field Sales Manager to lead the sales of their two-wheeler electric vehicles in the market. This role is not limited to showroom sales—it requires extensive fieldwork, including traveling to different locations, meeting corporates, institutions, fleet operators, and individual customers to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B and B2C sales, excellent business development skills, and the ability to drive growth in a competitive market. A passion for electric mobility, sustainability, and customer engagement is essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual EV sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, institutions, fleet operators, delivery companies, and individual customers.
  • Expand market reach by onboarding new dealers, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Travel extensively to meet clients and drive field sales.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, product demonstrations, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
  • Organize and participate in roadshows, demo rides, exhibitions, and community events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct compelling product presentations, test rides, and demonstrations.
  • Educate customers on EV advantages including ROI, cost savings, performance, and environmental impact.
  • Stay updated on EV technology, charging infrastructure, and government policies.
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline, forecasts, and customer feedback.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, customer interactions, and sales activities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and lead generation activities.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams by sharing customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.

  • Market research, competitor analysis, and understanding of government EV policies/incentives.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills for sales strategy optimization.
  • Time and territory management with ability to travel extensively for field sales.
  • CRM proficiency with experience in managing pipeline, leads, and client interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with focus on satisfaction and retention.
  • Problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience in a competitive market.
  • Leadership and team management skills (coaching, mentoring, and guiding sales professionals).
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, and after-sales).
  • Emotional intelligence and active listening to understand customer needs and handle objections effectively.


Salary
₹30000/- to ₹60000/- pm (Best in the Industry for Qualified Candidate)

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Engineering / Relevant. MBA / Post-Graduate Diploma in Sales & Marketing is preferred but not mandatory. Technical knowledge / Certification related to Automotive / Electric Vehicles will be an added advantage. A continuous learning mindset with awareness of the latest EV industry trends, policies, and sustainability practices is desirable.

Experience
Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Sales preferably in the Automotive / Electric Vehicle / Related Industry. Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C sales with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets. Prior experience in corporate sales / Institutional Sales / Fleet Sales / Dealer Development will be an added advantage. Experience in leading or mentoring a sales team is desirable.
