HealthCare Compliance Officer - WNJHCO11102023

  • Keep up to date with healthcare compliance regulations to ensure the company’s procedures adhere to the necessary rules.
  • Put in place compliance policies, processes, and codes of conduct to prevent legal liability.
  • Establish efficient compliance plans to make sure that patient records, billing methods, and any other source of personal patient data are kept private.
  • Review the organization’s records and record transfer procedures to recommend improvements to our record-keeping system.
  • Identify and respond promptly and appropriately, and recommend the required corrective actions.
  • Follow best practices to help minimize the risk of healthcare data breaches.
  • Provide employee compliance training to raise staff awareness of legal issues.
  • Communicate with independent contractors to make sure all services are provided in accordance with the compliance program.
  • Developing and administering the organization’s compliance program.
  • Establishing best practices to support compliance.
  • Communicating compliance information to senior leadership.
  • Developing and administering compliance training and education throughout the organization.
  • Overseeing compliance audits and risk assessments and implementing their findings.
  • Partnering with legal counsel and finance departments to identify and monitor critical risk areas, planning for mitigating risks, and developing action plans.
  • Coaching, mentoring and driving decision making for the compliance team.
  • Interacting with government and oversight agencies.
  • Reporting violations as appropriate or required.
  • Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form.
  • Dealing with queries on the phone and by email.
  • Taking minutes at meetings.
  • Working on Database reports.
  • Updating computer records using a database.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Maintaining office systems.
  • Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR
  • Working in an office.

  • Sound Experience in Medical healthcare Industry.

  • Healthcare compliance certificates are an advantage.
