HDPE Pipe Machine Operator – WNDHDPEPMO23102023

Should know how to change the dia(size) of the machine , set the water level & do proper centering of the machine.
Set, Monitor and maintain all standard requirements for machine operation for better quality production.
Make sure the availability of adequate raw material for production as per job order and proactively coordinate with the concerned person to confirm the same.
On time monitoring of the quality of production and immediate actions if any discrepancy in quality.
Proper and periodic maintenance of machines and monitor its working efficiency.
Follow the instructions of the production manager from time to time.
Executing Job as per the instruction and specification mentioned in the job order.
Set, Monitor and maintain all standard requirements for machine operation for better quality production.
Make sure the availability of adequate raw material for production as per job order and proactively coordinate with the concerned person to confirm the same.
On time monitoring of the quality of production and immediate actions if any discrepancy in quality.
Proper and periodic maintenance of machines and monitor and execute housekeeping procedures to keep the machine and workspace neat and tidy.
Follow the instructions of the production manager from time to time.
Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.
Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment at the end of the week to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, making adjustments as needed.
Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise.
Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up.
Use regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oil cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly maintain and clean equipment on a bimonthly basis.
Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components.
Choose and install cutters, moulds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
Select machine dies.
Determine setup procedures.
Draw or press metal into shapes and diameters.
Reel extruded products into rolls.
Specify lengths and weights of rolls.
Replace worn dies.
Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings, and temperature.
Synchronise speed of extrusion.
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Locate defects on extruded products.
Check for conformance to specifications.
Adjust controls as necessary.
Splice cables.
Install, connect, test, and adjust equipment.
String lines or install terminal boxes.
Clean tools.
Position insulation over conductors.
Seal splices with moisture-proof covering.
Access areas by climbing polls and ladders.
Remove excess, entangled, or completed filaments from machines.
Operate machines that extrude filaments from synthetic materials such as rayon, fibreglass, or liquid polymers.
Start metering pumps.
Activate and adjust extruding machines.

Key Skills

Handson Experience as a HDPE Pipe Machine Operator.
Should Know how to decide thickness, length and material consumption required before manufacturing of pipe.
Should be aware about making pipe with no wastage.
Should know electrical and mechanical fault resolution of HDPE extrusion machines.
Combination of additional education and experience.
Aptitude for maths, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
