Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction activities at our high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site and ensure work is carried out as per approved plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, architects, contractors, and labor teams to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with all construction regulations and site policies.
- Inspect work for quality assurance and address any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
- Maintain records of daily site activities, material usage, and manpower deployment.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources, including materials, machinery, and labor.
- Communicate with the project management team regarding site updates, issues, and recommendations.
- Handle site-level problem-solving, addressing unforeseen challenges effectively.
- Train and guide workers in safety procedures and best construction practices.
- Able to manage, coordinate and supervise workers at the site.
- Responsible for all day to day site activities.
- Monitor and supervise contractors and workers on the site.
- Reporting to the project manager for progress of work on the site.
- Looking after all execution works like civil, plumbing, carpentry, electrical etc. at the site.
- Planning of activities to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Preparation of labour and material requirements on the site.
- Supervising workers, subcontractors and work activities.
- Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Assessing and managing safety hazards.
- Ensuring appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
- Carrying out regular inspections.
- Helping project managers to plan the work programme.
- Helping coordinate deliveries of materials, plant and equipment.
- Completing records for site reports.
- Attending site management meetings.
- Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
- Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
- Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
- Organizing and overseeing external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector.
- Providing emergency first aid if required.
- Strong knowledge of high-rise building construction techniques and site operations.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
- Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and site management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving skills to handle on-site challenges effectively.
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and documentation tools is a plus.
- A professional with a constructive mind, having expertise in planning, designing & execution of a project with innovative ideas.
- The candidate must have experience of working with any reputed Building Construction Company.
- Candidates should be physically fit to work at site.
- Stability in a work experience is a must.
- A positive attitude.
- The ability to communicate with, motivate, and if necessary discipline the workforce.
- The ability to understand drawings and other contract documents.
- A good understanding of safety procedures.
