Human Resource Executive – WNAHRE11062025

Job Overview

They are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resource Executive to lead their human resources function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, statutory compliance, training, and employee engagement. Experience in the financial services sector, especially within an NBFC, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, offer roll-outs, and onboarding.
  • Develop recruitment strategies aligned with NBFC’s growth and sales-oriented environment.
  • Conduct workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure a steady talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and provide tailored hiring solutions.
  • Design and execute structured onboarding programs to align new hires with company values, systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases using HRMS/HRIS systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organizational charts in line with labor laws and RBI guidelines.
  • Ensure statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, gratuity, minimum wages, bonus, and labor law requirements.
  • Stay updated with RBI, SEBI, and related NBFC compliance frameworks and support HR audits and inspections.
  • Manage payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and benefits administration efficiently.
  • Monitor compensation structures, conduct salary benchmarking, and administer incentive plans and employee benefits.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate relevant training programs such as compliance, soft skills, product knowledge, and leadership.
  • Utilize multiple training methods like workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training and assess training effectiveness.
  • Implement performance management systems (e.g., KRA-based/MBO), support goal setting, and track performance KPIs.
  • Support performance appraisal cycles and provide inputs for improvement and development plans.
  • Foster a positive and respectful work culture by addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution professionally.
  • Plan and organize employee engagement initiatives such as team-building, welfare programs, recognition, and surveys.
  • Promote internal communication through newsletters, policy updates, and employee feedback channels.
  • Act as an HR business partner to align HR strategies with business goals and drive organizational change initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics (e.g., attrition, hiring costs, training ROI) and generate insightful reports for leadership.
  • Support long-term workforce planning considering NBFC’s multi-branch operations and growth trajectory.
  • Standardize HR practices across branches to ensure uniformity and compliance in a geographically spread organization.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence by supporting the recruitment and training of sales and customer-facing teams.
  • Handle employee exits, conduct exit interviews, and implement retention strategies to reduce attrition.
