Job Overview
They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Furniture Sales Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the furniture industry. You will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth by promoting our premium furniture products to businesses and individual customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying, approaching, and converting prospective customers across retail, project, institutional, dealer, and export segments. 
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with homeowners, corporate clients, architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, dealers, and institutional buyers.
  • Understand customer needs through detailed consultations and recommend suitable furniture solutions for homes and work environments.
  • Promote and sell the company’s furniture products by clearly explaining features, materials, finishes, durability, craftsmanship, innovation, and long-term value.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including manufacturing processes, customization options, ergonomics, warranties, and care guidelines.
  • Conduct professional product demonstrations, showroom walkthroughs, and client presentations to deliver a premium buying experience.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, BOQs, and proposals as per approved pricing structures and negotiate terms within company guidelines.
  • Close sales orders effectively while achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and maintaining healthy profit margins.
  • Upsell and cross-sell complementary furniture ranges, finishes, and solutions to increase order value and profitability.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to order closure, delivery coordination, installation, and payment collection.
  • Coordinate closely with production, planning, logistics, installation, marketing, and design teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Capture complete order details, track order status proactively, and keep customers informed until final handover.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing queries, complaints, service requests, and after-sales issues promptly.
  • Follow up post-delivery to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, referrals, testimonials, and long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, visits, quotations, conversions, collections, and customer data using CRM or internal systems.
  • Conduct market research to track customer preferences, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, forecasts, and market feedback to management for strategic planning and product improvement.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, client events, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Manage showroom operations by ensuring clean, organized, well-stocked displays aligned with brand guidelines and sales priorities.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, dealers, and franchise networks across India and support export-related enquiries where applicable.
  • Log in daily to IndiaMART or similar portals, analyze and prioritize buy leads, follow up consistently, and maximize lead-to-conversion ratios.
  • Arrange customer meetings, site visits, plant visits, and experience center walkthroughs to build trust and showcase product quality.
  • Maintain strong compliance with company policies related to pricing, documentation, credit, collections, and ethical selling practices.
  • Represent the company brand professionally in all customer interactions, negotiations, and public forums.
