Human Resource Executive – WNMHRE12022026

Job Overview
The HR Executive will manage overall HR functions for a leading machine manufacturing company specializing in CO2 Laser Machines, Fiber Laser Machines, CNC Routers, Laser Engraving, Laser Marking, and Digital Printing Technologies, handling end-to-end recruitment, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, and HR operations while supporting technical, production, sales, service, and administrative teams. The role requires a proactive and organized professional capable of managing both blue-collar and white-collar workforce, ensuring smooth interdepartmental coordination, maintaining labour law compliance, and fostering a disciplined, productive, and growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for blue-collar and white-collar roles including Design Engineers, Service Engineers, CNC Operators, Production Staff, Sales Executives, and Administrative teams.
  • Conduct manpower planning in coordination with department heads based on production targets, sales projections, and business expansion plans.
  • Source candidates through job portals, agencies, ITI/polytechnic campuses, referrals, and contractors; conduct screening, interviews, salary negotiations, background verification, and offer finalization.
  • Oversee complete employee lifecycle management including onboarding, factory induction, safety orientation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, performance reviews, and exit formalities including full and final settlement.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personal files, HRIS/HRMS updates, statutory registers, muster rolls, and compliance documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Ensure full statutory compliance under applicable Indian labour laws including Factories Act, Shops and Establishment Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, EPF, ESI, Gratuity Act, Bonus Act, Contract Labour Act, POSH compliance, and other relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate and validate payroll inputs including attendance, shift scheduling, overtime calculations, incentives, deductions, and leave management to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries (if required), and maintain industrial harmony across departments.
  • Implement and monitor KPI/KRA-based performance management systems aligned with production targets, sales performance, service SLAs, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical, safety, and soft skills training programs, including upskilling for laser technology, CNC operations, machine maintenance, and workplace safety standards.
  • Promote workplace safety, enforce PPE compliance, support safety audits, accident reporting, and occupational health standards within manufacturing facilities.
  • Foster smooth interdepartmental coordination between production, technical, sales, service, and administrative teams to resolve workforce challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, employee handbook, SOPs, and code of conduct aligned with manufacturing industry standards.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives including recognition programs, welfare activities, feedback mechanisms, and team-building efforts.
  • Manage contract labour, coordinate with staffing agencies and training vendors, and ensure contractor compliance with legal and safety standards.
  • Prepare HR MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics covering recruitment metrics, attrition, absenteeism, headcount, compliance status, and manpower costs for management review.
  • Support succession planning, career progression planning, and manpower cost control initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Promote a disciplined, productive, safe, and growth-oriented work culture aligned with the company’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.


Key Skills

  • Strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for blue-collar and white-collar roles including technical, production, service, sales, and administrative positions.
  • Proven ability to source and hire specialized technical talent (CNC, Laser Technology, Machine Operations, Service Engineers, PLC, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance including Factories Act, EPF, ESI, Gratuity Act, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act, Contract Labour Act, Shops & Establishments Act, and POSH regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in managing HR operations within a manufacturing or industrial setup.
  • Strong payroll coordination skills including attendance management, shift planning, overtime calculation, statutory deductions, and incentive processing.
  • Expertise in managing blue-collar workforce, shop-floor discipline, and industrial relations in unionized or non-unionized environments.
  • Effective employee relations, grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary management skills.
  • Experience in implementing KPI/KRA-based performance management systems aligned with production targets and business goals.
  • Ability to conduct training needs analysis and coordinate technical, safety, behavioral, and skill-development programs.
  • Sound understanding of workplace safety standards, PPE compliance, and occupational health practices in manufacturing plants.
  • Strong workforce planning and manpower allocation capabilities aligned with production schedules and operational deadlines.
  • Experience in contract labour management, vendor coordination, and staffing agency supervision.
  • Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS systems, payroll software, biometric attendance systems, and advanced MS Excel (reports, dashboards, analytics).
  • Strong documentation and audit readiness skills including maintenance of statutory registers, compliance records, and ISO-related HR documentation.
  • Ability to prepare HR MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics covering hiring, attrition, absenteeism, and manpower costs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate effectively with workers, engineers, managers, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate workforce or compliance challenges.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability to work across shop-floor and office environments.
  • Strong policy drafting and implementation skills aligned with manufacturing operations.
