- Drive nationwide sales growth and expand market presence for compressed air and gas generation solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceuticals, packaging, and process industries.
- Lead, manage, and mentor regional sales teams to ensure high performance and target achievement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, OEMs, and large industrial accounts.
- Build and strengthen a robust national distributor, dealer, and channel partner network.
- Oversee promotion and sales of products including reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, oil-free compressors, air treatment equipment, and PSA gas generators.
- Ensure alignment of sales strategies with customer technical requirements and industrial applications.
- Guide teams in conducting site visits and technical evaluations to recommend suitable solutions.
- Drive national-level market mapping, lead generation, and pipeline development activities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
- Oversee preparation of technical proposals, commercial quotations, and large-value negotiations.
- Ensure profitability by implementing effective pricing strategies and cost optimization.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to order closure and post-sales engagement.
- Monitor regional sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Manage key national accounts and build long-term relationships with decision-makers.
- Identify and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities including spares, services, and system upgrades.
- Strengthen channel partner performance through training, support, and performance monitoring.
- Resolve channel conflicts and ensure smooth coordination across regions and partners.
- Collaborate with technical, service, operations, and marketing teams for seamless execution.
- Lead product presentations, technical discussions, and strategic client meetings at a national level.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to refine sales approach.
- Analyze sales data, forecasts, and pipeline reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, proposals, and key business opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and high-level business forums to enhance brand visibility and leadership presence.

- Extensive experience in industrial sales and business development for capital equipment and engineering solutions.
- In-depth technical knowledge of compressed air systems including reciprocating, screw, oil-free compressors, air treatment equipment, and PSA gas generators.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute national sales plans and growth strategies.
- Expertise in B2B consultative selling, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing high-value deals.
- Strong ability to understand complex customer requirements and deliver solution-based sales approaches.
- Excellent negotiation, pricing, and contract management skills with a focus on profitability and long-term value creation.
- Proven capability in building and managing relationships with key clients, OEMs, and large industrial accounts.
- Strong experience in developing, expanding, and managing nationwide distributor and dealer networks.
- Key account management expertise with the ability to drive long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for high-level client interactions.
- Advanced skills in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making using CRM tools.
- Deep understanding of value-based selling and total cost of ownership (TCO) concepts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including technical, service, operations, and marketing.
- High level of ownership, result orientation, and ability to drive performance under pressure.

Minimum 7 to 12 years of experience as an National Sales Head / Zonal Sales Head / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Relevant in Industrial Sales, preferably in Compressed Air Systems / Gas Generation Solutions / Capital Equipment. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business development within assigned territories. Experience in handling industrial clients, OEMs, dealers, and channel partners. Strong exposure to technical sales, solution selling, and key account management also in managing distributor networks and expanding market presence. Familiarity with manufacturing and process industries will be an added advantage. Willingness to travel extensively for business development and client meetings. Strong experience of industrial equipment, engineering concepts, and technical sales on priority.
