
The Heavy Equipment Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving B2B sales of industrial cranes and material handling equipment by identifying client requirements and offering suitable solutions. The role includes business development, client coordination, site visits, and ensuring timely execution of orders across engineering, construction, and manufacturing sectors. The candidate will focus on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and delivering reliable and cost-effective solutions.
- Drive B2B sales of industrial cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment across engineering, construction, and manufacturing sectors.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by targeting potential clients and expanding market presence.
- Understand client requirements through meetings and site visits, and recommend suitable technical and cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct site surveys to assess operational needs, space, load capacity, and application requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical solutions aligned with client expectations.
- Negotiate commercial terms, finalize contracts, and close sales while maintaining profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key decision-makers.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, production, and logistics for smooth order execution.
- Monitor order progress from inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support, follow-ups, and service coordination to ensure long-term client retention.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Maintain sales pipeline, prepare reports, and track performance against targets.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to generate leads.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills in industrial or engineering products.
- In-depth understanding of industrial cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to analyze client requirements and provide customized technical solutions.
- Knowledge of equipment specifications, load capacities, and safety standards.
- Ability to conduct site visits and assess operational and technical requirements.
- Experience in preparing proposals, quotations, and handling tendering processes.
- Strong negotiation, commercial understanding, and deal closure skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder handling ability.
- Coordination skills to work with engineering, production, and logistics teams.
- Project handling capability from inquiry to execution and delivery.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.

Education
Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in B2B or Industrial Sales / Heavy Equipment / Engineering / Construction Equipment / Manufacturing Sectors will be given priority.
