Job Overview
The Warehouse Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations for electrical panel manufacturing activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, electrical components, finished goods, and consumables. The role ensures accurate stock records, proper material handling, timely material availability for production, and efficient dispatch coordination while maintaining warehouse organization, safety standards, and inventory accuracy. The Warehouse Executive works closely with the Purchase, Production, Stores, and Logistics teams to support smooth manufacturing and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming raw materials, electrical components, consumables, and finished goods.
- Generate and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and other warehouse documentation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, binning, and segregation of materials for easy identification and retrieval.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices to ensure effective stock rotation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the Purchase Department.
- Track and control slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
- Issue materials to production teams as per approved requisitions, BOMs, and production schedules.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted electrical panel manufacturing.
- Coordinate with Production and Planning teams regarding material requirements and consumption.
- Receive, inspect, and maintain proper records of finished electrical panels and related products.
- Coordinate dispatch activities and ensure timely shipment of finished goods.
- Prepare delivery challans, packing lists, E-Way Bills, and dispatch-related documentation.
- Verify packing, labeling, loading, and transportation of finished products before dispatch.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and logistics partners regarding material movement and deliveries.
- Ensure safe handling of electrical components, heavy materials, and warehouse equipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, space utilization, and 5S standards.
- Enforce warehouse safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe material handling practices.
- Segregate and manage damaged, rejected, scrap, and non-conforming materials.
- Support internal, external, and customer audits by maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records.
- Prepare inventory, stock movement, dispatch, and warehouse performance reports for management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material flow.
Key Skills
- Advanced computer proficiency with strong expertise in MS Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis, inventory tracking, and report preparation.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management operations and procedures.
- Expertise in inventory management, stock control, and inventory accuracy maintenance.
- Ability to perform inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and physical stock verification.
- Strong understanding of goods receiving, inspection, and material verification processes.
- Proficiency in Goods Receipt Note (GRN) preparation and warehouse documentation management.
- Knowledge of proper material handling, storage, and preservation techniques.
- Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and material requirement planning.
- Ability to identify and manage electrical components used in panel manufacturing.
- Expertise in dispatch planning, logistics coordination, and shipment management.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of FIFO / FEFO inventory management practices.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, compliance requirements, and 5S implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Hands-on experience in ERP Systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Inventory Reconciliation, Cycle Counting, Physical Stock Verification, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Delivery Challans, E-Way Bills, and Dispatch Documentation is essential.
