
The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team in managing enquiries, proposals, and coordination for the Company’s Smart Air Quality Monitoring Solutions. The role ensures smooth communication between clients, sales, and internal teams while assisting in sales tracking and documentation. The position contributes to effective sales execution and customer satisfaction, supporting the Company’s mission to deliver data-driven environmental insights for healthier and more sustainable environments.
- Coordinate with the sales team to manage enquiries, leads, follow-ups, and client communication related to Smart Air Quality Monitoring Solutions.
- Act as a central point of contact between clients, sales, technical, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Prepare and maintain sales documents including quotations, proposals, presentations, technical datasheets, case studies, and tender submissions.
- Support the sales team in scheduling client meetings, product demonstrations, webinars, site surveys, and exhibitions.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, provide initial product information, and ensure timely responses.
- Qualify leads from industries, institutions, and government bodies, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
- Process sales orders for sensor hardware, installation services, data subscriptions, and monitoring systems.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning.
- Support post-sales activities including delivery tracking, installation scheduling, training coordination, and issue escalation.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, sales trackers, pipelines, and customer databases with accurate and complete data.
- Track sales performance, prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
- Assist in organizing promotional activities, trade shows, environmental expos, client visits, and product demonstrations.
- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, agreements, customer interactions, and project records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, documentation standards, and applicable environmental regulations.
- Coordinate tender documentation for corporate, government, and smart city sustainability projects.
- Support solution mapping by working with technical teams to align sensor specifications with client requirements.
- Help clients understand environmental parameters such as air quality, noise, odour, weather, and radiation, and how data supports sustainability goals.
- Assist in managing renewals for annual maintenance contracts and software or data platform subscriptions.
- Maintain inventory of sales materials, demo units, and presentation tools.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments related to environmental monitoring.
- Contribute to building long-term customer relationships through professional, prompt, and reliable sales support.
- Strong sales coordination and sales administration skills, including quotations, proposals, contracts, and order processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and data-driven insights in simple terms to non-technical clients.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to handle leads, demos, orders, and deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, or similar for lead tracking and pipeline management.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel for sales reports and data analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, and Word for documentation.
- Customer relationship management skills with a strong service-oriented mindset for B2B clients.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in quotations, technical specifications, compliance documents, and order documentation.
- Basic technical and product knowledge of sensor-based hardware, IoT platforms, and environmental monitoring solutions.
- Understanding of environmental parameters such as air quality, noise (dB), odour, weather, radiation, PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, and related metrics.
- Awareness of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and ESG-related requirements influencing client decisions.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data, track performance metrics, identify trends, and support sales forecasting.
- Problem-solving and adaptability to manage delivery issues, technical queries, and changing client requirements.
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills to collaborate with sales, technical, operations, logistics, and marketing teams.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and act as a liaison between engineers and clients.
- Familiarity with sales operations, pipeline management, and CRM data accuracy best practices.
- Event and demo coordination skills for webinars, exhibitions, site visits, and product demonstrations.
- Market research skills to identify new opportunities, track competitors, and monitor sustainability trends.
- Willingness and ability to continuously learn new technologies, regulations, and developments in the cleantech and environmental monitoring domain.
