Electrical Maintenance Manager

·         He is responsible for the Assets related to Building Interiors & External Development, Site, Plant, Machinery, Equipment, Utilities, Operating Supplies, General Safety, Fire Safety, Lifts, Environment Management, Energy Management, Hygiene, Sanitation & Company Vehicles.

·         Candidate is going to be Overall in-charge of Engineering Operations, Maintenance, Upkeep and Management of Company.

·         Electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems.

·         Operate electrical systems, including HT and LT Power, DG Sets, Utilities.

·         Lighting and LV Systems to Industry standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.

·         Possess working knowledge of LT panels, VCBs, ACBs, RCCBs, MCBs, ELCBs, Control Wiring Motors, starters, relays, safety features, alternators, rectifiers, UPSs, battery systems, switches, switchgear, lighting systems, etc.

·         Possess working knowledge of Utilities such as Water Treatment Plant, Hydro-pneumatic System, STP, Sewage and Storm Water Pumps, Transfer pumps, Ventilation fans, Air-conditioning units, and Passenger & Service Lifts.

·         Possess working knowledge of Sprinkler and Fire Hydrant System, Fire Alarm & Smoke Detection System, Emergency Evacuation & Announcement System, Hand Appliances & Close Circuit Camera System (CCTV), Telecom and Computer Data System.

·         Monitor Annual, Half-yearly and Monthly Budgets for Engineering Expenses & Utilities.

·         Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are maintained for Engineering & Safety related work.

·         Manage Engineering Stores, Inventories, Material Specifications and Procurement.

·         Working knowledge of Computer for Operations & MIS generation.

·         Diagnose and repair Engineering problems.

·         Assess the work required, resources / parts needed for a job and place orders and get work done.

·         Conduct routine Testing, Operational Work and Maintenance on Plant, Machinery and Engineering Systems, and ensure installations are to Manufacturer Standards, including Fire, Safety and Security Systems.

·         Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds Company Standards, complies with Building Codes, and follows Safety Requirements.

·         Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in Engineering Systems without receiving explicit Direction.

·         Provide exceptional Customer service and answer any Customer queries.

·         Provide professional assessments and advice to Management.

·         Provide continuous feedback to Management on Engineering Operations, Maintenance, and Activities & Expenses through proper MIS formats.

·         Carry out Training & Development of Engineering & Fire Fighting teams of Company.

·         Carry out regular drills for Fire Safety for all Staff Members & Client Representatives.

Key Skills

• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English, Gujarati and Hindi.• Ability to lead a team of Engineering Technicians & Supervisors, and coordinate with Vendors, Suppliers  & Contractors • Ability to make Annual Budget for Engineering Expenses and Utilities • Ability to make Standard Operating Procedures for all critical Operations • Collaborative, Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills • Managerial, Inter-personal & Technical Skills • Problem Solving & Trouble-Shooting Ability • Good Leader and Team Player • Professional Appearance and Approach • Ability to deal with Government Agencies on issues of Compliance • Ability to deal with Staff, Colleagues, Clients and Support Agencies • Ability to manage Engineering Stores, Inventories, Material Specifications and Procurement • Decision-Making Ability • Stress and Time-Management Skills • Physical Stamina and Strength

Experience

• Managerial Experience in a similar role in Hospital, Hotel, Mall, Commercial or industrial Establishment

• 5 years’ experience for BE candidate or 8 to 9 years for Diploma holder
