Store Keeper – WNTSK04092023
- Keeping a record of sales and restocking the store accordingly.
- Managing and training store staff.
- Planning promotional campaigns for new products or specials.
- Ensuring that the store is kept clean and organised.
- Mediating any confrontations between staff and clients, and de-escalating the situation.
- Receive the materials ordered by the purchase department (in case of Decentralised system) and supplied by the vendors in a proper maintenance as per the laid down procedure.
- Ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, condition of the materials received from vendors.
- Stock the materials received from vendors properly to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
- Ensure proper stocking of materials by using appropriate methods of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.
- Ensure a smooth issue of materials to the issue department.
- Ensure accurate accounting of the materials receiver and issued.
- Ensure a favourable working atmosphere is maintained for the personnel working in the store.
- Ensure proper safety measures are taken for the safety of the store building, materials in the store and the men working in the store.
- Ensure that the store is always maintained up to date in all respects in a presentable condition.
- Materials supplied by the vendor as per the purchase order placed by the Purchase Department.
- Materials thoroughly for quality, quantity, specification condition, condition etc.
- Categories the materials category wise and stock in the appropriate locations.
- Take appropriate action for care and preservation of the materials.
- Periodical stock verification and ensure correctness of stock at all times.
- Take safety measures for the safety of the storehouse, materials and men working in the store.
- Maintain the neat and tidiness of the store house.
- Issue materials to the departments as per the indents.
- Issue materials to departments as per the schedule.
- Pass the bills of the materials received from the vendor and send it to the Accounts department for payment.
- Carry out a periodical condemnation board for the unserviceable materials.
- Take action for disposal of scraps materials as per the procedure.
- Maintain all the documents up to data.
- Generate reports and submit to concerted authorities.
- Attend an audit by the auditors.

- Prior experience in retail, preferably in a management position, would be advantageous.

Salary
