Social Media Strategist – WNRSMS04102024
- Strategy Development: Create comprehensive social media strategies for clients, focusing on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging networks, aligned with the overall marketing and brand strategy.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and distribution.
- Content Ideation & Collaboration: Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and video producers to generate innovative, high-quality content that resonates with the target audience.
- Audience & Community Engagement: Develop strategies to grow social media followers, increase engagement, and foster an active online community around client brands.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media metrics, analyze data, and provide insights on campaign performance. Use data to inform future strategies and ensure that campaigns are meeting KPIs.
- Paid Social Media: Develop and manage paid social media strategies and budgets, ensuring that ads are targeted and optimized for maximum reach and ROI.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media, platform updates, and industry best practices. Apply insights to keep campaigns fresh, relevant, and competitive.
- Crisis Management: Monitor social media channels for negative sentiment and respond appropriately to resolve issues, protecting the client’s reputation.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for clients to stand out.
- Client Communication: Present strategies, reports, and campaign results to clients in a clear, data-driven manner. Provide recommendations for improvement or new opportunities.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with advertising, SEO, and marketing teams to integrate social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
Key Skills
- Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Strong understanding of paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Creative thinking and content planning abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SEO and how it integrates with social media strategies.
- Experience in managing large-scale social media campaigns.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and collaboration.
- Basic understanding of graphic design or video editing tools.
