Advertising Sales Manager – WNRASM04102024
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and pitch advertising services to potential clients. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
- Campaign Planning & Selling: Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing needs and goals. Develop and propose advertising campaigns that align with those objectives, focusing on both digital and traditional media.
- Revenue Growth: Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by upselling and cross-selling advertising solutions. Consistently achieve sales goals through individual performance and team contribution.
- Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales and campaign process. Ensure the successful execution of campaigns and address any client concerns or challenges.
- Market Research & Analysis: Keep up with industry trends, market changes, and competitive offerings. Use insights to improve sales pitches and solutions for clients.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis. Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to guide business decisions.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and support junior sales team members. Collaborate with internal teams such as creative, media buying, and production to deliver optimal advertising solutions for clients.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting their advertising needs.
- Client Retention: Maintain client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and post-campaign analysis, offering recommendations for future improvements.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of advertising and media solutions (digital, TV, radio, print, etc.).
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Prior experience working in an advertising or media agency.
- Knowledge of digital advertising trends (e.g., programmatic, social media ads, and content marketing).
- Strong relationships within the advertising and media industry.
- Experience leading a sales team.
