Job Overview
The MIS Executive will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and presenting operational and production data to management. The role requires strong data management skills, accuracy, and the ability to prepare insightful reports to support strategic decisions in the manufacturing of automated valve systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company MIS infrastructure including ERP, CRM, and manufacturing systems.
- Ensure system performance, data accuracy, and security across platforms.
- Monitor and integrate data from production, inventory, sales, and quality departments.
- Develop and enforce policies for data collection, storage, and confidentiality.
- Maintain databases related to production, sales, inventory, quality control, and customer information.
- Perform ETL (extraction, transformation, loading) tasks from multiple data sources.
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS reports for all departments.
- Prepare detailed production reports including output, cycle time, downtime, and capacity utilization.
- Monitor inventory including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and lead times.
- Provide sales and marketing reports based on product types, regions, and customer trends.
- Compile quality control reports including defect rates, rejections, and warranty claims.
- Create financial reports such as COGM, overheads, and profitability per valve package.
- Use Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros), SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Zoho Analytics).
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and KPI trackers.
- Deliver data insights for strategic planning, sales forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Recommend improvements for process efficiency and automation opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate and well-organized data.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and industry regulations.
- Plan and coordinate IT operations related to data systems and MIS.
- Support and train users on ERP/MIS tools and dashboards.
- Coordinate with IT vendors for system upgrades, bug fixes, and feature development.
- Automate reporting processes using tools like Power Automate or Google Apps Script.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data sharing and operational alignment.
- Conduct variance analysis and suggest actionable improvements.
- Provide technical assistance to departments and resolve system-related issues.
- Receive and document client complaints and maintain complaint resolution logs.
- Handle order processing and track order status from initiation to dispatch.
- Measure and report the accuracy and timeliness of the order fulfillment process.
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, sales, projects, production, and finance) to ensure timely product delivery and updates.
- Schedule and organize internal meetings, sales events, and product training sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer data, and MIS reports.
- Create and update sales dashboards and generate periodic sales performance reports for management review.
- Follow up with customers for feedback and ongoing support.
- Ensure quick resolution of customer issues in coordination with the appropriate teams.
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely recovery of dues from clients.
- Communicate payment terms and follow up on overdue invoices with customers.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and escalate unresolved cases.
- Support the sales team with strategic input, planning, and execution.
- Communicate key updates, sales targets, and performance metrics with internal teams.
Key Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboards, Macros).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, Zoho ERP, or manufacturing-specific ERP).
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of production cycles, inventory management, and quality control processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy.
- Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
- Familiarity with automation tools like Google App Scripts and Power Automate.
- Technical knowledge in IT networks, infrastructure, system support, and data security.
- Practical knowledge of MIS tools including ERP, CRM, and reporting software.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to maintain and manage large datasets across departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly present reports, trends, and data summaries to management.
- Understanding of business operations, supply chain, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills when handling MIS or IT projects.
- CRM software proficiency along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with sales analytics tools (preferred).
- Strong multitasking ability and organizational discipline.
- Problem-solving mindset and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines efficiently.

₹50000/- to ₹80000/- pm (Best in the Industry for Qualified Candidate)
