Job Overview
They are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Logistics Manager who can manage end-to-end supply chain operations with precision and leadership. You will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing logistics functions to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate is result-oriented, highly analytical, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders while driving process efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and order fulfillment across multiple verticals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to align with business goals, ensuring cost-effective and efficient supply chain execution.
- Manage and optimize 3PL space with value-added services to ensure smooth and customer-focused operations.
- Continuously improve transportation routes, warehousing systems, and inventory processes to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, legal requirements, and ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics (KPIs) and generate detailed reports for senior management with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, IT) to deliver seamless and integrated logistics solutions.
- Lead vendor negotiations and manage relationships with transporters, suppliers, and third-party service providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering customized logistics support.
- Champion the use of technology-enabled logistics solutions and stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in supply chain management.
- Drive strategic execution and operational excellence in alignment with the company's “one-stop solution” philosophy.
- Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, conducting performance reviews, training, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Monitor logistics budgets, forecast requirements, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service standards.
- Partner with over 30 principal companies to ensure logistics solutions meet industry-specific demands and exceed client expectations.

- Capable of analyzing logistics KPIs and operational data to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
- Hands-on experience with technology-enabled logistics systems such as ERP, LMS, WMS, and TMS.
- Well-versed in ISO 9001:2015 standards and maintaining compliance across all logistics functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams, clients, and third-party partners.
- Effective in cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless supply chain solutions.
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making, especially in handling complex logistical challenges.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics for forecasting and performance reporting.
- Committed to operational excellence, with experience in applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies.
- Familiar with global and Indian logistics trends, using best practices to stay competitive.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to service quality and satisfaction.
- Flexible and resilient, able to perform under pressure in fast-paced and changing environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, customs processes, and supply chain risk management.
- Financially literate, capable of aligning logistics performance with profitability goals.
- Good understanding of India's logistics landscape, including regional regulations, infrastructure, and market dynamics.

Any Graduate / Graduate with Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management / Relevant education is required. Master’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain or Business Administration is preferred. Professional certifications like CSCP, CLTD, Six Sigma, or Lean Management are an added advantage. A strong understanding of logistics systems and industry regulations through formal education or training is desirable.
Experience
Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in logistics / supply chain / operations management. Proven track record of managing 3PL operations, transportation, warehousing, and inventory control. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, handling vendor relationships, and driving process improvements. Prior experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, and tech-enabled logistics systems is essential. Exposure to pan-India logistics operations and ISO 9001:2015 environments is preferred.
