Job Overview
The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for managing sales inquiries, preparing quotations, and coordinating with clients and internal teams for smooth order execution. The role includes tracking leads, maintaining sales data and reports, following up on payments and deliveries, and coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming sales inquiries related to electric material handling equipment such as forklifts, tow trucks, trolleys, cranes, and mobility solutions.
- Respond to client inquiries from warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, and industrial facilities in a timely manner.
- Understand technical and operational requirements of clients for material handling solutions.
- Coordinate with sales engineers to validate product suitability based on application needs.
- Prepare accurate quotations for electric industrial mobility products as per specifications and pricing structure.
- Create techno-commercial proposals for electric forklifts, tow trucks, cranes, and related systems.
- Coordinate internally for technical clarification before finalizing quotations.
- Follow up on quotations to support conversion into confirmed orders.
- Convert approved quotations into sales orders with complete technical and commercial accuracy.
- Maintain ERP/CRM records for all inquiries, quotations, and order details.
- Track sales pipeline of industrial equipment orders across different stages.
- Coordinate with production planning for manufacturing timelines of customized equipment.
- Confirm material availability and production schedules for electric mobility systems.
- Work with engineering and operations teams for order feasibility and execution planning.
- Coordinate with logistics for dispatch planning of heavy industrial equipment.
- Ensure proper dispatch documentation including invoices, inspection reports, and delivery challans.
- Track shipment of equipment and provide real-time updates to clients.
- Monitor end-to-end execution from order confirmation to installation or delivery.
- Follow up on advance payments, milestone payments, and final settlements.
- Coordinate with accounts team for invoicing and payment reconciliation.
- Handle technical or commercial queries raised during order execution.
- Resolve client issues in coordination with engineering, production, and service teams.
- Maintain detailed sales reports for electric mobility product categories.
- Support forecasting of demand for industrial equipment across different sectors.
- Ensure continuous communication between clients and internal departments for smooth execution of complex equipment orders.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of B2B industrial sales processes in engineering and material handling equipment industry.
- Basic technical knowledge of electric material handling equipment such as forklifts, tow trucks, trolleys, cranes, and industrial mobility systems.
- Ability to understand customer applications in warehouses, logistics hubs, manufacturing plants, and industrial environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and internal coordination with technical and operational teams.
- Excellent coordination skills to manage sales, production, engineering, logistics, and accounts departments.
- Strong quotation and techno-commercial proposal preparation skills for industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems for lead tracking, order management, and sales pipeline monitoring.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting, dashboards, sales analysis, and data management.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills for lead conversion, order closure, and payment collection.
- Good understanding of complete sales cycle from inquiry, quotation, order processing, dispatch to payment.
- Strong documentation skills for handling quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and dispatch records.
- Ability to manage multiple industrial inquiries and equipment orders simultaneously with accuracy.
- Analytical skills to track sales performance, monitor delays, and support forecasting.
- Problem-solving ability to handle technical, operational, and delivery-related challenges.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in pricing, specifications, and order execution.
- Customer-centric approach focused on long-term relationships and satisfaction in industrial B2B sales.

Experience
Minimum 1 to 3 Years of experience in Sales Coordination / Inside Sales / B2B Industrial Sales is preferred. Experience in the Manufacturing / Engineering / Material Handling Equipment Industry will be highly preferred. Exposure to CRM/ERP-based sales tracking, quotation handling, and order processing is required. Experience in coordinating with production, logistics, and accounts teams for order execution is an added advantage.
