Assistant Production Manager (Fabrication)

·         Candidate has to help the design engineers and suggest measures to develop cost efficient and aesthetically pleasing designs.

·         Candidate is required to support the production staff in every aspect, so that the final product is identical to the design blueprints.

·         An assistant production manager helps in providing the production process and schedule, overseeing quality control and ensuring products are produced on time or projects completed within the deadline. 

·         Other tasks of an assistant production manager include budgeting, utilizing needed human and material resources, creating a timescale for production, supervising production processes, and adjusting schedules when needed. 

·         These assistants are also responsible for procuring and monitoring the use of equipment. 

·         Assistant production managers also help in checking product standards and applying quality-control programs, liaising among different clients and departments, completing paperwork of the production manager and performing various tasks as assigned.

Education

Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience can apply

Skills and knowledge

Project Planning, Material Purchase, Quality Testing and Control, Supervision and Mentoring, Assist in Installation, Assist in Installation, Administrative Tasks

Other Skills

·         Strong knowledge of engineering design concepts and practices

·         Ability to work under strict deadlines without letting the shortage of time affect the quality of work

·         Experience of diagnosing and resolving design and functional issues arising in the course of a project

·         A positive and friendly approach towards colleagues, clients, and other public with whom he may have frequent contact

·         An inclination to achieve success through hard work
