Job Overview

The National Sales Head is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across the country. This leadership role involves overseeing regional sales teams, developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in strategic planning, people management, and building high-performance sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy aligned with the company’s vision and business goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, customer segments, and distribution channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional/state-wise sales teams across all zones (North, South, East, West).
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for teams; monitor and drive performance.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to guide sales strategy and optimize offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, OEMs, distributors, and institutional partners.
  • Drive business development and lead negotiations with large clients and strategic accounts.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for leadership.
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM tools, reporting systems, and data-driven sales decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Service teams.
  • Lead participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to drive brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing sales professionals; conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Define and implement effective pricing strategies in collaboration with management.
  • Promote a results-oriented and customer-focused sales culture aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain all required sales documentation and procedures as per ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying sales process gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Be open to extensive nationwide travel to meet clients, support field teams, and explore new markets.

Education
Any Graduate with MBA Sales / Engineering Sales / Machinery Sales / Relevant knowledge with Team Management and Target Oriented Skills can apply for this position.

Experience
Minimum 7 to 12 Years of experience as a Engineering Sales Head / Sr. Sales Engineer / Relevant in Machinery Product Sales can apply.

Travelling
60% Travel across the Country (pm)
