Country Manager (Scrap Division) – WNSCM04012023
- Liaising with head office and writing up quarterly/annual reports.
- Recruiting, vetting, and training all new staff.
- Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Monitoring performance at all levels and scheduling training as required.
- Implementing an effective brand strategy and ensuring consistency.
- Building professional relationships with staff and clients.
- Maintaining a good image of the organisation at all times.
- A Country Manager will be responsible for managing all operations within a country. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.
- In the Corporate Relocations and International Removals Sector, a Country Manager job may include being in charge of many areas of the business such as moving services, global mobility and records management.
- Agreeing annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan are tasks a Country Manager may have to deliver as well as monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash.
- A key part of the role of Country Manager will be to produce business performance reports, which could be on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- They are expected to recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, and possibly mentoring and training.
- The role is client facing and so daily contact with clients is a big part of a Country Manager job, therefore the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
- Candidate will be the person responsible for the highest management for all business activities of the enterprise in a country. This means they will be responsible for revenue, profit, working capital, and product quality goals.
- Candidate’s job is to establish operating budgets and create detailed annual business plans. At the same time, it is also necessary to ensure that the monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are met in terms of revenue, profit, and finance.
- Candidate is responsible for recruiting and managing all employees under his/her headquarter. In addition, it is also responsible for monitoring the performance of subordinate employees, advising them on professional skills, and organizing training programs to improve employee productivity.
- In the role of the business representative in a country, Candidate will have to regularly work with the partners and agents of the business in that country. Therefore, Candidate is required to be able to communicate effectively.
- Another important task of Candidate is to provide complete and timely business results reports on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
Key Skills
- Must be some financial qualifications or training – a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves agreeing annual budgets as well as producing financial reports.
- A Country Manager job requires a strong understanding of how a business operates and successful candidates will have a proven track record demonstrating their understanding and business acumen.
- General management experience is essential for working in this job.
- In a Country Managers job, you need to have excellent networking skills.

Salary
1500/- KWD to 3500/- KWD pm
