Job Overview

They are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Travel Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the travel industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role requires expertise in selling travel packages, corporate travel solutions, and luxury experiences, ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the travel sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and B2B collaborations.
  • Sell and promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, visa services, and travel insurance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Manage and optimize online and offline sales channels, including OTA platforms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring smooth travel experiences.
  • Oversee the pricing, discounts, and promotional offers to maximize profitability.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Meet preferred airline targets.
  • Achievement of TRS target. (i.e. MICE, Hotels, Transport, VISA, Insurance, Calling cards, Rail, Forex)
  • Timely implementation & adherence to all new operational processes.
  • Client retention & Management, Structured Customer Reviews.
  • Maintain service delivery standards & customer satisfaction.
  • Quality check for all operations - Ticketing, VISA, Insurance, Hotel.
  • Relationship Management with the customer and vendors.
  • Handle VIP & difficult customers.
  • Ensuring Team motivation and satisfaction further to ensure better customer service.
  • Ensuring staff performance & development, upgrading product knowledge of staff.
  • To provide operational support to their teams. (Implants & Outplants)
  • Compliance with management of agreed SLA/ KPI’s.
  • Airline liaisons with regards to confirmation/debit notes/waivers & favours etc.
  • To monitor compliance with regards to the preferred airlines of both the customer and organisation.


Key Skills

  • Proven experience in travel sales, tour operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of travel products, destinations, and tourism services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales plans to meet business objectives.
  • Experience in handling B2B and B2C travel sales.
  • Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo), OTA platforms, and CRM software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets consistently.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Passion for travel and customer satisfaction.


Salary
₹30000/- to ₹70000/- pm (Best in the Industry for Qualified Candidate)
